PRESS RELEASEFebruary 5, 2010Burbank, CaliforniaHydra-Electric is pleased to announce the addition of Daniel Price to its talent pool as a Senior Aerospace Design Engineer at its Burbank facility; Dan will be instrumental in the engineering design efforts on all new products as well as assisting in the continuous improvements being made to manufacturing. Dan brings 20 years of intensive, hands-on experience in aerospace design and development, holding key engineering positions at Rockwell International (Canoga Park) and Kavlico Corp. (Moorpark). Dan is extremely experienced in areas of aerospace sensor design, assembly, welding and testing, as well as quality systems (ISO, AS9100), and failure analysis. Dan holds a BS in Manufacturing Engineering from California Polytechnic State University, as well as an MS in Industrial Engineering from California State University Northridge. He has also gained certificates in specialized engineering areas, including induction brazing and soldering, LabView programming, and the Taguchi Design of Experiments.
