PRESS RELEASEJanuary 26, 2010Burbank, CaliforniaBob Guziak, the newest talent to join the ranks at Hydra-Electric, has been appointed to the position of Senior Manager New Products in order to manage the launch of all Hydra-Electric product development initiatives from engineering to prototype through volume manufacturing.Bob’s outstanding resume includes more than 20 years of hands on experience in the design, development, and manufacturing of sensor products for Aerospace, Industrial and Medical applications. Bob has successfully held key management positions at Kavlico, Ametek Aerospace, Advanced Bionics, and other high-tech firms and is intimately familiar with product development, quality systems (ISO, AS9100), and lean manufacturing. He holds both a B.S. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh, and has completed graduate level business classes at California Lutheran University. Bob holds a number of patents within the aerospace sensor field and has written numerous technical papers for presentation at WESCON, JPL, ISA, IEEE, Product Design Magazine, and several other technical publications.
