FAA Repair Station:Hydra-Electric has a certified FAA Repair Station in house, and is able to repair all the products that it manufactures. Hydra only repairs PMA approved parts, of course, and is obviously very concerned with protecting the property of its customers. Hydra works closely with the local FAA offices in Van Nuys, California, in order to make sure that we are in touch with the latest FAA regulations involving repair and production. The Hydra-Electric FAA Certificate Number is AC3R366L. Hydra-Electric is also certified by the European Aviation Safety Agency (Part 145) for repairs.The products from Hydra-Electric have high quality and low failure rates. Military StandardsHydra-Electric began manufacturing for the U.S. military in the 1950’s, as it became apparent to the armed forces that Hydra had patented the best technology for pressure switches, with its Negative Rate Disk Spring. Hydra-Electric Aerospace Switches are designed to meet various specifications such as RTCA/DO-160, MIL-S-9395, MIL-S-28827, MIL-S-28788, MIL-STD-810 or MIL-STD-202.
