Hydra-Electric has been supplying parts for the aerospace industry for over 60 years and has maintained the highest product longevity in the industry.

Current high-profile military programs include F14, F15, F16, F117, F/A-18, AV8B, C5, C17, Euro Fighter, Joint Strike Fighter, plus many others.    Current commercial aircraft include all Boeing 700 series, Airbus 320/350/380, Bombardier 600/700/900 Series, Lear 45/60, and Embraer 135/145/170.  We also serve private aircraft customers:  Gulfstream III/IV/V; Cessna Citation; Hawker 400/800/Horizon/ Premier 1; Dassault Falcon 2000/X7; Pilatus PC12; and New Piper Meridian.

All these programs demand a pressure switch product that has long life and is able to maintained and repaired.  All our products possess long life characteristics, with many units exceeding life cycles of 250,000 actuations.  Typical product longevity for Hydra products is in the 5 to 10 year range, depending on the type of product, pressure levels, and frequency of flights.

Hydra-Electric houses an FAA certified Repair Station in its facility and is able to repair any product that it manufactures.  Hydra-Electric provides complete Failure Analysis Reports (FAR) for products repaired within warranty.  Turn-around time for a Failure Analysis Report at Hydra-Electric is 30 days.    Typical turn-around for repairs is 30 days following Failure Analysis.
